Slideshows

A DVD slideshow is a collection of still clips. Slideshows can have an audio background. See the audio section for our selection.

We can also include your photos on the DVD-ROM portion of the disc, making the DVD an entire record of an event.

We will be using the slideshow feature to greater effect in the future, including offering a slideshow-only DVD service to catalog and archive vast amounts of photos. We will be offering a photo printing service as well.

The photographs to be included in your slideshow can come in different formats:

• Printed photographs
• Negatives
• Slides
• Graphic files (JPEG, TIFF)

Send them along with your video when ordering. If they are files on your computer, you can also email them to us.

Your slideshow can be set to advance manually or automatically.

Manual slideshows move to the next track by using the track skip buttons on your remote control.

Automatic slideshows allow each photograph to stay on screen for 3 seconds before moving on to the next.

Generally automatic slideshows are better. Manual slideshow force the audio track to start again when they advance to the next still clip. Automatic slideshows can be paused if need be.
